For a long time, I thought it the gift of flowers was silly. Frivolous. I felt a little guilty for secretly wanting roses on Valentine’s Day (or for no reason at all), as if they were an unjustified use of money.

Flowers, to me, are a gift of sweet thoughts; a delicate token of affection. A breath of garden-y freshness in the dead of Colorado winter. I love roses. (Thank you, dear!)
